I recently read an article about the importance of colour in your blog, it helps create the right environment for your readers as colour affects mood.
So a quick rundown on what it is thought that each colour signifies-
Blue – conservative, business and is associated with depth and stability.
Red – Anger, Blood, Passion and Love it’s an energetic colour and an emotionally intense colour. Often used on the internet for ‘buy it now’ and to highlight links etc. Also for warning and danger.
Purple – Power, nobility and ambition it is said to combine the blue and red positive attributes (ie the stability and the passion)
Green – Nature, growth, harmony and freshness
Yellow – Joy, happiness, intellect and energy. The use of yellow is to highlight cheerful things but remember sometimes it has the opposite effect for many years yellow has been associated with cowardice, and I have heard of yellow cards in football. So use yellow wisely.
Orange – combining the energy of red and the joy of yellow, Orange is said to represent enthusiasm, creativity, success and stimulation. (Time to change to Orange perhaps?)
I chose red for my blog simply as to me it signifies passion, my passion and enthusiasm for blogging, twittering and things that are social media. It wouldn’t be ‘me’ if it was orange or purple.
So what colour is you blog and does it match you?

We have a theme which needs a bit of updating layout wise, however the clour is still looking great IMO. Yes, you guessed it, Orange !!! It is only subtely little splashes of orange but would agree with you insights for sure.
I think red and black was a good choice, classic and timeless.

A lot of thought went into our colours which are supposed to be fashionable and modern interior design colours.
