SSP

I would love to know about my blog readers and this is the section to add your Shameless Self Promotion or SSP :-)

Please share with us, what you do, who you are and please don’t be spammy – this is a get to know you rather than post an advert!

  1. I would help Sarah with her road risks, but she pretty much has that covered, unlike around 80% of businesses.

I am told I know pretty much everything about things with wheels, but I think I am still learning.

  2. An excellent idea; who better to blog about promoting small business but someone who rolls up her sleeves herself! A woman after my own heart – as you know, working with small businesses too, helping them to get their blogs and websites live using WordPress. It will be a privilege to join in here and to encourage others to come and see social media in action.

  3. My life is an adventure. I love to know people who are successful and people whose lives are also in motion. As the consummate entrepreneur, my mission is to build relationships that benefit all.

Married happily to the same woman for 25 years in December, I consider her my best wife so far. (humour) We have a puppy named Sadie and a great and wonderful life with many friends worldwide. Spend most of my online time on Twitter (JimZiegler) and on Facebook (James A. Ziegler)

Sarah Arrow is an incredible friend. JIM

  4. I heartily agree wth Barbara’s comments, Sarah is a go getter par excellence

I design and commission computer systems for distributors , manufacturers and most recently hauliers.

I also research the latest in online technology and support those who use it .. currently googlewaving and creating lots of twitter lists.

  5. Good luck with this project, Sarah – and with everything else. You deserve it.

About me – well, you know, a little bit of everything. Currently an unemployed (but extremely busy)
web designer with ambitions for several new web projects and a business of my own. Watch this
    space.

  6. Hi,

I live in Italy and provide management and language training. We have a language school near Padua and we send Italians to the UK and Ireland to study English. We also do translations and help people expand their businesses into Italy.

  7. I rent flats in Pimlico.

    That was short and sweet!

  8. Another acronym, I like Sarah! SSP indeed.

And closest to my heart is employers having effective and contented staff and employees being happy at work. I value the idea that it’s not just knowledge and skills that make someone ‘right for the job’ but actually their personality, cultural preferences and interests as well. Ask me more!

A bit of HR here and there as well as career guidance keeps me off the streets, along with some networking too. And of course I have a certain Barbara Saul to thank for my WordPress website.

  9. Brilliant site Sarah, you always have great suggestions a blog with them is fab!

I am a Business Software Trainer who holds online webinars on saving time using the software you have.

  10. It’s hard to beat Sarah for sheer enthusiasm for other people and helping them! She and Kevin run a great little courier company that I would highly recommend too.

Like Jim, I’m an adventurer and a maverick but in a completely different field.

My passion is helping pharma and biotechnology companies around the world bring great cancer drugs to market. We have real world experience of doing that too.

  11. As a fellow entrepreneur, sometime blogger and social media user with a range of business interests from publishing and writing to consulting and mentoring, I’m dedicated to helping people take action to fulfil their potential and have better, happier lives. This is something I see in Sarah also, as she is always front line with support and a warm response. Currently moving towards launching a major humanitarian project, to complement what we already do, on a global scale.

  12. Sarah you’re finally doing something with all that knowledge! Good luck with the site!

With over twenty years experience of starting, building and running my own businesses in the UK, I also spend some of my time mentoring other owner/manager/directors. The types of issues I get involved in are sorting out internal communication blockages, and troubleshooting lack of business performance – often the two are linked. I’m also often asked to assist with defining brand, product service and marketing strategy, leaning towards service industries. I’m also helping my wife build our publishing business @sussexlocal
