Well as of late I have been quiet over here, here being my dumping ground for thoughts, tips and stuff that I have found around the web. I have been very busy over at Birds though.
Forbes decided to honour us as one of their top 100 websites for women and from what I could see we were the only British entry. With that came the deluge of emails graphic designers and media agencies all offering their services, some even rang up! Overnight people were interested in us, but for the wrong reasons in my opinion, it was not to say well done it was to say how much dosh do you want to pay me to make your blog into a PDF… yeah, I am still wondering why I can’t do that one myself.
Our bloggers have been fab, they work hard and the revenue goes to the twins in Uganda – all good stuff. I need to work harder on finding ways to reward them.
Just when that all calmed down, we managed to upset Stephen Fry… all came good in the end though and he said that Ann’s blog was a ‘fine blog x’ - what superb encouragement to an aspiring novelist 
personally i don’t know what was more stressful – Stephen Fry or the Forbes list 
I have two other blogs launching soon, and am working on those, so sadly this blog here will be even more neglected 
Sorry, I shall be back to weekly posting in a few short months and in the mean time, will continue to use this place as my personal sandpit to break and implement new ideas – you’ll see them here first and hear about the results here too.
